Outback Spirit Tours offers a range of unique adventure tours and luxury short stays across our beautiful country. Our adventures capture the very essence of Australia, from the rugged red cliffs of the Kimberley to the unspoiled natural wonder of Tasmania, we bring iconic experiences to life. We operate 9 lodges in some of the most remote, inaccessible and beautiful locations. Our team of guides, drivers, camp and operations staff are passionate about the outdoors and take pride in bringing our guests on the adventure of a lifetime.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking skilled and reliable Seasonal Maintenance Staff to join the Outback Spirit team at our remote camps and lodges across Western Australia, the Northern Territory, and Far North Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to work in some of Australia's most stunning and remote locations, providing a unique experience while ensuring that our properties are maintained to the highest standards.
In this essential role, you will be responsible for the upkeep of buildings, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring a safe and functional environment for our guests, visitors, and staff. You will perform general repairs, ongoing maintenance, and preventative upkeep, all while ensuring minimal disruption to the guest experience. For certain locations, the role may require mechanical expertise, making it a hybrid maintenance/mechanic position.

ABOUT YOU:
You will be a proactive, detail-oriented candidate with a strong technical background and a solid understanding of maintenance and mechanical systems. The ability to troubleshoot problems quickly, coupled with a commitment to delivering high-quality results, is essential. You will also need excellent communication skills to work closely with staff and suppliers, as well as a customer-focused approach to ensure smooth operations.
