Sr. Web Designer

What we’re looking for:

We’re seeking a Senior Web Designer who is passionate about both code and design. This role will primarily focus on developing high-performing marketing landing pages through clean, scalable front-end code (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), while also contributing to light graphic design needs such as banners and campaign graphics. This role is ideal for a hybrid talent who thrives at the intersection of design and development. You’ll work closely with our marketing teams to own the delivery of responsive, user-friendly, and conversion-optimized web experiences.

Work Breakdown: 30% Web Page Design / 60% Coding / 10% Graphic Design

• 30% Web Page Design: This portion involves planning, creating mockups, and potentially some coding of the visual aspects of web pages. This might include tasks like wireframing, user interface (UI) design, and ensuring a good user experience (UX).

• 60% Coding: This is the technical aspect, likely involving front-end languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to bring the web designs to life and make them functional.

• 10% Graphic Design: This element focuses on creating or modifying visual assets like images and icons to enhance the overall look and feel of the website or web pages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, launch, and maintain responsive marketing landing pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Troubleshoot and resolve layout, browser compatibility, and web performance issues

• Optimize pages for SEO and accessibility

• Translate design mockups or wireframes into fully functional pages

• Build reusable page components, templates, and style guides

• Support the design team with light graphic work (e.g., promotional banners, campaign visuals)

• Actively participate in projects and voice your ideas and solutions

• Maintain industry-standard programming style and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in web design or front-end development
• Advanced proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Shopify, MailChimp, JavaScript Experience with CMS platforms, and building responsive landing pages
• Proven ability to code and launch marketing web pages independently, from concept to production
• Hands-on experience with A/B testing, QA processes, and web performance optimization
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Strong design fundamentals including composition, color, hierarchy, and typography
• Detail-oriented with strong time and project management skills to juggle multiple priorities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Strong portfolio showcasing both front-end development work and visual design examples

Benefits

Salary range: $110,000 - $130,000
