We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graphic Production Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for current college students who are passionate about design. Time Frame: Monday-Friday- onsite in office, summer, fall and spring semesters. Avg 20 hours per week The Graphic Production Intern's role is to ensure the accuracy of designs and prepare them for final stages of print or digital publication. To be successful in this position, you should combine strong creative and technical skills to format various images and illustrations. You should also have an eye for detail. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the design team to produce visually appealing layouts and graphics. Assist in the sign manufacturing process by applying typography and layout design principles. Review graphics, layouts, fonts, and spelling before product is sent to print. Retouch images to improve quality both in print and digital form. Archive produced images and graphics. Ensure all projects are completed on time while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design or a related field. Strong attention to detail. Knowledge of the printing process and experience with design tools such as Corel Draw, Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress Mus be able to handle repetitious work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail with a passion for producing high-quality work Exceptional skills at proofing your own work Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and communicate ideas effectively.
