Description Summary The Supply Chain Team is responsible for procurement, fulfillment, customer success, and overall operations support. Our goal is to provide everyone with unreasonably good service and be the best part for all that we serve. The Orders Specialist is responsible for the management and organization of all returns and claims for the company, both customer and vendor facing.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities - Responsible for the communication and transactional process of customer returns
- Assists in forecasting returns with the Revenue Manager
- Provides sales support for all returns/RMAs
- Manages and maintains day-to-day relationships with vendors regarding returns with the Buyer/Revenue Manager
- Manages all internal support inboxes (support, order acknowledgements, tracking)
- Proactively communicate current order statuses and set expectations of delivery dates for outstanding orders to the Account Management Team.
- Provide sales support for all order questions and follow up.
- Responsible for keeping the open sales orders delivery dates at consistently low volume of past due delivery dates.
- Ensure that vendors are clearly communicated with on open order requests.
- Ensure orders are proactively moved into shipping queues and participate in the process of adding tracking information to orders.
- Assists the Revenue Manager with end-of-month reporting and order cleanup
- Minimizes freight cost by determining the most cost effective methods for returns shipping
- Manages and maintains all communication needed between intercompany departments
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Revenue Manager
- Takes ownership and responsibility for their own workload and helps their team members when needed
Requirements 2+ years experience in a customer service or operational position
1+ years of professional experience
Basic PC skills and some experience with Google Apps and/or Microsoft Office
Proven time-management and organizational skills
