Join a high-performing acute care hospital in Austin, TX, as the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging. This role offers the chance to lead a large, multi-modality imaging department with inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services across three locations. You’ll be part of a healthcare system that values operational excellence and people-first leadership.
As Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, you will provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for a multi-site radiology department. Your responsibilities will span across diagnostic X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, interventional radiology, and mammography. You’ll lead a team of 70–80 FTEs while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and regulatory compliance.
Oversee daily operations across multiple imaging modalities and locations
Lead and support a large team of imaging professionals
Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and hospital administration
Develop policies, manage budgets, and monitor equipment and performance metrics
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards
Support and coordinate high-volume outpatient procedures including CT-guided biopsies
Promote a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Minimum 2 years of leadership/supervisory experience in a hospital setting
Current MRT license from the Texas Medical Board
ARRT Registered Radiographer
BLS certification required
Advanced certifications in CT, MRI, Mammography, CV, or QM preferred
Bachelor’s degree required
Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Austin, TX
