Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Facilities Technician for a Contract job with a client in Pomona, CA . Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance and repairs, as well as supporting equipment and furniture moves.
Rate Range: $24/hour to $26/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Facilities Technician job responsibilities include:
Perform operation, repair, and preventative maintenance of building facilities and HVAC systems.
Ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable workplace environment.
Assist with the move and installation of equipment and furniture.
Respond to facility-related issues and perform general maintenance tasks.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Support other related duties as assigned to maintain facility operations.
Desired Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; technical certification in HVAC or facilities maintenance preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
Proven ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems and building equipment.
Ability to safely move and install equipment and furniture, with strong attention to workplace safety and efficiency.
