Are you an experienced aluminum welder and fabricator looking for a stable, well-organized shop with long-term projects? Munson Boats is seeking skilled Welders/Fabricators to join our team in building custom high-speed aluminum landing craft for government and commercial applications, including patrol, fire response, dive operations, research, oil spill cleanup, water taxis, fishing, and more.

This is a full-time opportunity with a four-day workweek (Monday – Thursday, 10-hour shifts), allowing for a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality aluminum MIG welding with a focus on structural integrity and aesthetics
• Fabricate and assemble aluminum hulls, decks, and other vessel components
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Ensure precise fit-up and proper welding techniques for durability and appearance
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Work efficiently within a team to meet project deadlines

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in aluminum MIG welding and fabrication (marine industry experience preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship
• Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
